What are GameDesignShare.com cards?

GameDesignShare.com cards are a free service that we provide to registered users of our Video Game Design Pro program.  The VGDP software allows users to export their design documentation to a free portal available on the web at www.GameDesignShare.com.  From this access point, users can access, or grant access to their design documentation for others to view and/or edit.

Users grant access by providing the document name and passwords that they created when their designs were exported.  For example, if a user wishes to let someone view their designs, they can do so by telling them their document name, and its viewing password.  However, they may also want to let others edit this documentation with their Video Game Design Pro software, so they would do so by providing them with an editing password as well.

So how do these cards work?

Much like business cards are quickly and easily handed to prospects and partners as pieces of contact and reference information, the GameDesignShare.com cards which we provide free to our customers contain their viewing password, document name, and company name.

*Adherence to strict privacy concerns, prevents us from printing editing passwords on cards unless users explicitly instruct us to do so.

Why use GameDesignShare.com?

GameDesignShare.com is used in order to share your design documentation with friends, family, or team members.  Possessing this access information allows anyone with an internet connection to view design documentation through an encrypted and secure access point.  Development studios use this portal so that team members can quickly and easily reference information on a game's design no matter where they are, and regardless of whether or not they possess the Video Game Design Pro software.

Why use GameDesignShare.com cards?

These cards provide an easy and free way to either gain as wide an audience as possible for your design efforts, or to ensure that your team has the information necessary to be able to reference designs for better project management during development.
